Cancellation and Deposit Policy

At Chocolate Hair Company, we understand that life can be unpredictable. However, as a small business, every appointment is vital for us to keep our doors open, pay our dedicated stylists, and cover essential costs. When a client doesn’t show up or doesn’t provide enough notice to reschedule, it directly impacts our ability to serve other clients and manage our operations.

We want to ensure we can continue to deliver top-notch service and maintain a fair experience for everyone, so we’ve put the following policies in place:

No-Show and Late Cancellations:

  • If you don’t show up to your appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, we will charge a 100% cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Late Arrivals:

  • If you arrive 15 minutes late or more, your appointment will be considered a no-show, and you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee. Please let us know if you're running late!

Future Appointments:

  • Any client who is a no-show or cancels late will need to pay a deposit for all future appointments at Chocolate Hair Company. Repeat offenders may be asked not to book future appointments.

Deposit Requirement:

  • For services valued over $200, we may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

We understand that illness or emergencies can happen, and we’re happy to show discretion in those cases. Please notify us as soon as possible if you’re feeling unwell, and we’ll work with you to reschedule without penalty. Your health is our priority!
